Race Day

came and went. on a windy december day. it was a blast. an awesome event. the kids outran us all in the 2K and 5K. my sister and my cousin did an entire marathon. they were so strong. the support staff (the rest of us) ran/drove around town like crazy, trying to catch up to them in time to cheer like monkeys and pass out water and powergel at the aid stations. awards banquet that night. everyone is a winner. we made $3,390 to donate to the PEF. it makes me excited to think about how those funds can help change lives. thanks to dad for planning this. thanks to my family for being an inspiration to me.
