sunday baking

mmmm. on sundays, we bake.

this time:

banana-nut-bread muffins (mom's recipe)

.and.

chewy oatmeal chocolate-chunk cookies (jonny's creation)

usually, we try to give away most of our goods before they all fall straight into the hands of the cookiemonster(him), or the belly of the sweettooth(me). needless to say, our neighbors are rather fond of us.

but this time...we kept them all for ourselves.

it must be that greedy time of year. ?

or maybe we ran out of paper plates and aluminum foil.

or maybe not.

maybe we can qualify it is 'brainfood' and chalk it up to needing extra 'energy' for our finals.

yes. that's it.

lets just say...

stress+cold weather+no time to work out+a job at a greasy restaurant+a husband who is too good a baker for his(and my) own good= a wife with a winter fat layer.

its something to be thankful for. forecast says snow this week.
