it was one of those days...you know, one of those days when you just have to complain about everything in your life and sit on your couch and cry for a while. and maybe call and whine to your mom.
things seemed to go from bad to worse.
...but then jonny took me out to dinner. and i'm pretty sure a plate of mexican food cured all of my problems.
in other news, domesticity: i have arrived.
i made homemade wheat bread for the first time this week, along with some fantastic creamy southwest chicken soup which i made by throwing random things in a crock pot.
also, this book has an incredible lemon bar recipe which we've already enjoyed to a creamy, zesty overindulgence.
and, in conjunction with eating delicious food, i've been going to the chiropractor and working out like crazy. my friend ali motivates me to go running....and in her free time makes fantastic purses and wallets which you can buy here!
i've also become a little obsessed with looking at design blogs lately. why is it that gazing at pretty things is so much more fun than thinking deep thoughts about textbookish language?
why?
we're looking for an adventure. with a capital A. what to do? any ideas? this is also what i ruminate over when i should be marinating my brain in asphyxiating grad school knowledge.
whelp.
g'night ya'll!

adventure idea: lets go to HAWAII. please and thanks.
You should check out giant city state park! It's down near carbondale and it is so beautiful. Chris and I really want to camp there but we ran out of time last fall... hopefully we'll make it out there this spring though!
