We had a wonderful Conference Weekend and had a great time in Salt Lake City with the Youngs. Good food, good company. I have always enjoyed watching conference on TV, but there is just something special about being there in person. I love the Young family tradition of going to temple square for every April conference. And thanks to some skilled ticket-getters(ahem...jeffery....thanks:) ), we show up with nothing, and somehow get in to every session!
The weather was crazy, but the spirit was strong. I'm so glad we went.

This week, we went to visit our new home! Urbana-Champaign. (or is it Champaign-Urbana?...i'm still not sure.)
We spent the afternoon in Chicago, exploring and eating deep-dish pizza. mmm.
Then we drove down (with the help of our oh-so-handy lifesaving GPS) to Urbana, and spent the next few days touring the beautiful campus, finding a place to live, and talking to professors.
We are nervous but so happy! Even though we are sad to leave Utah, we are excited for the change and we still feel good about our decision. We can't believe it's really happening. It will be a big adjustment and a lot of hard work, but hopefully it will be a great experience and pay off in the end (so we are told).
We have been so blessed with this opportunity. We are counting our blessings every day.

Easter Sunday is one of my favorite days of the year. Its great to have family, friends, food, and egg hunts. But really I love focusing on our Savior. Here is the First Presidency Easter Message:
"At this Easter season of hope and renewal we testify of the glorious reality of the atonement and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. The empty tomb brought comforting assurance and provided the answer to the question of Job, “If a man die, shall he live again?” (Job 14:14).
Because of the Savior’s resurrection we will overcome death and become the beneficiaries of His mercy and grace. In a world of trouble and uncertainty, His peace fills our hearts and eases our minds. Jesus is in very deed “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6).
We give our sure witness that Jesus is the Christ. Though He was crucified, He rose triumphant from the tomb to our everlasting blessing and benefit. To each member of the human family He stands as our Advocate, our Savior, and our Friend."

Mary - is that picture of your apartment?
Jonice and I were accepted to UIUC Law, and we are about 90% sure we are going there. We have talked to the landlord about renting the apartment two doors down from that picture.
