when we have a huge house, endless hours of free time, and massive amounts of extra cash lying (laying?) around, i'll redecorate. and shop here.
but style will have to wait. for now, i spend our money on groceries.
- black bean & avocado grilled chicken tacos on warm corn tortillas
- spaghetti squash with ground turkey +chunky garden sauce and parmesan cheese
- shredded chicken and creamcheese rollups in buttery, flaky crescent rolls
- artichoke, spinach chicken pizza with creamy white sauce on a crispy thin crust
- lime cupcakes with whipped vanilla frosting and green sprinkles (thanks ali!)
- fudge brownies and jonny's signature no-bake oatmeal/cocoa/pb cookies
salivating yet? i know.
remember how a few posts ago i mentioned we were eating egg whites and yogurt? well that didn't last long. but we are definitely still on the healthy wagon. we just jump off every now and then to pick a chocolate flower. we think that's allowed if you stay balanced most of the time. and do P90x. seriously people, i did the Kenpo (tae-bo/kickboxing meets karate/yoga and has a love child) video saturday morning. i think i can win a fight now. i feel like a machine. a very sore machine.
also, because of our church callings as youth leaders, we went as chaperones to the youth black and white dance this weekend. weird. i'm pretty sure we were the most inappropriately-close slow dancing couple there. it was fun. i also boogied to the YMCA. (will that song ever stop playing?)
we went to an eagle court of honor last night. i sure am proud of my eagle scout. (see below)
he's the strong, quiet type. and a hunka hunka burnin' love if you ask me.

I was so productive today.
Happy Monday!
Have a great week, everyone.
