learned how to use the pedal on the piano. (big fat gracias to my parents who surprised me with this beauty for Christmas so i can practice at home :):):)
cleaned the car. i even used armor-all. ata girl.
watched the snow melt. !
enjoyed a few sunny, 50-degree days. heavenly.
decided that jonny needs to ride his bicycle to be happy.
discovered a new band to love: The Civil Wars.
held a friend's brand spankin' new precious baby boy.
made my mom's chocolate chip cookies.
had a teenage boy ask if he could be my "married #2", after he asked if i had a boyfriend and my response was, "i'm married".
took walks with my puppydog who is too cute for his own good.
procrastinated doing piles of schoolwork...only 3 weeks left! gah
watched the sunrise while running a few miles.
sang songs about the color pink with the hilarious kiddos here.
stalked fashion and design blogs, and daydreamed about decor.
exchanged e-mails with my lovely parents, who are in europe at the moment.
spent hours searching for publications about teaching an individual how to use an artificial larynx after a total laryngectomy.
dreamed that my husband was a superhero. (not far from the truth)
did a lot of pondering about what i want out of this thing called life and what path we should venture down next...
freak.ing.out. a little. i have to remind myself to breathe. and to let go. and to stop.stop.stop. planning. and to enjoy each day. and to find balance between leaving things in the hands of the Lord and working hard to open doors for ourselves.
